I grew up a “Military Brat” and know the value of settling into a city and wanting it to feel like “HOME”, as soon as possible. I understand the sensitive nature of relocation and all that it entails. I enjoy introducing newcomers to the wonderful world of Charlotte, as I find this city a very special place to live, work, exercise, play, and raise a family. There is truly something for everyone here.
I specialize in all the In-Town neighborhoods close to Uptown like Dilworth, Myers Park, Eastover & Elizabeth, and south of the city to SouthPark and beyond. I have lived in Myers Park for 17 years, and although not born and raised here, I am a professed Charlottean!
Corporate America Before Real Estate
My work experience includes corporate giants like US Airways where I worked as an International Flight Attendant, flying to and from Germany. I spent a number of years in Germany as a child, I have a German mother (who married the military man!), and was fortunate enough to learn the language during my 8 years there.
I then moved on to the Cosmetic Industry and worked for Cosmair International, owner of major brands like Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, & Paloma Picasso. This job as a Marketing Coordinator/Specialist brought me to Charlotte in 1995. I traveled the Carolinas with over 60 accounts in major department stores.
Estee Lauder, the largest cosmetic company in the world, was my next stop. I worked as an Account Manager, traveling NC, SC, and Georgia. I managed 70 plus employees and over 100 accounts. Here I enjoyed many successes growing and expanding the territory with sales increases each year, winning numerous national awards.
After so many years “on the road” it was time to settle into a job that would keep me at home to enjoy this city I love so much!
From Lipstick to Asphalt
I landed a job as an Infrastructure Sales Manager for a locally owned firm, selling Asphalt, Concrete, Mass Grading, & Water Sewer installation. I learned the main by-ways and back-roads of the growing Charlotte market like the back of my hand. I was now selling a different kind of “cosmetic”. This position allowed me to take my customer service skills, marketing experience, and relationship based sales and apply them to a local market. As I spent time in developing housing communities where I was bidding on work, I became interested in Residential Real Estate.

I started my Real Estate career with Helen Adams Realty in 2003. I earned “Rookie of the Year” the first year. I have spent each year since then at the top of the company as a yearly sales leader.
One of the designations I am most proud of is “Quality Service Certification” where I have achieved 100% client satisfaction based on survey results compiled by Leading Research Corporation every year since 2005, the year Helen Adams Realty brought this training to our firm and the local market. QSC is the only award in the real estate industry based on independently validated, measurable service results. Clients of QSC agents receive a customer satisfaction survey at the end of each transaction. The surveys are administered and the results are compiled by LRC- Leading Research Corporation. I am also a Certified Relocation Specialist. It is my goal to familiarize families with our area, the real estate options, schools, etc., so that wise, informed decisions can be made.
